Adam Lambert has released his cover of Noël Coward’s Mad About the Boy.
The singer’s take on the classic track serves as the theme for the upcoming documentary ‘Mad About the Boy – The Noël Coward Story’ from director Barnaby Thompson.
The documentary chronicles the life and career of the playwright and will be released in 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of his death.
The ‘American Idol’ star premiered his take on the song with a performance on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, accompanied by professional dancers Carlos Gu and Nikita Kuzmin
It marks Adam’s first new music since signing a record deal with Warner Music.
