Adam Lambert has offered up a fresh taster of his upcoming self-titled album.
‘UNDER THE RHYTHM’ is the latest track to be released from the LP and offers a deeper look at the style of the record, which is heavily influenced by 1990s alternative music and electronica.
It incorporates elements of ATC’s hit ‘Around The World (La La La La La)’ while building upon the dark, electronic sound of previous release ‘EAT U ALIVE’.
On the track, Lambert says: “‘UNDER THE RHYTHM’ is a song about overcoming life’s hardships through the connective and healing power of music. It encourages the listener to keep pushing forward, one day at a time, one dance at a time, toward joy.”

An accompanying music video, directed by Ricciardi, sees the ‘For Your Entertainment’ singer in a surreal monochrome labyrinth, reflecting themes of restriction, transformation and eventual liberation through music.

Clocking in at 12 songs, ‘ADAM’ takes inspiration from the artists that influenced the ‘Whataya Want From Me’ hitmaker in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
“The album explores both the light and shade of life and the razor’s edge that separates a positive experience from a negative one,” Lambert says.
“I hope these songs connect with anyone who has been through the confusing but necessary process of self-acceptance. There was a real liberation in acknowledging my own weaknesses and strengths.”
