Adam Lambert has released his take on Duran Duran’s Ordinary World from his forthcoming covers album ‘High Drama’.
The Queen + Adam Lambert frontman will release his new LP in February – his first since inking a new deal with Warner Music.
Artwork for the record sees Adam walking through a sheet of broken glass and in an interview with the Daily Star’s Wired column, he reveals his nose had to be Photoshopped after being injured on a sharp edge.
“On the first take of the photo, a pane of sugar glass was dropped straight onto my head – and it sliced into my nose,” he shared.
“I don’t hold my record company responsible for my injuries. I was fine, but I did suggest, ‘Hmm, maybe let’s change the angle of how we drop the glass next time.’
“We Photoshopped my injury out on the finished artwork.”
Celebrating the release of the LP, the For Your Entertainment singer will play a one-off show in London. The location and details are to be announced in January.
‘High Drama’ is out February 24 and available to pre-order now.
