Adam Lambert has released his take on Bonnie Tyler’s hit single Holding Out For A Hero.
The Queen + Adam Lambert frontman’s rendition of the classic is lifted from his forthcoming album ‘High Drama’, due in February.
Of the LP, which also features his version of Duran Duran’s Ordinary World, out now, Adam says: “It’s a fun challenge to figure out a way of doing a 180 with a song. This album is a foray into my world.
“Over the past decade, I’ve explored a few different areas and sounds and energies, and I feel like part of this new chapter in my career is me being really clear on who I am, and what I am, and what I’m not. I think that’s all coming out in these tracks.”
Other covers on the album include Lana Del Rey’s West Coast, P!nk’s My Attic, and Mad About The Boy by Noël Coward, which appears on the soundtrack to the documentary ‘Mad About the Boy – The Noël Coward Story’ from director Barnaby Thompson.
‘High Drama’ is out February 24 and available to pre-order now.
