Madonna shared a glimpse of her 62nd birthday celebrations as the Queen of Pop headed to Jamaica to mark the big day.
The Girl Gone Wild star let loose as she posed on a red velvet chair with a tray covered in rolling papers and nuggets of marijuana. In the snap, she had a joint hanging from her lips.
“Welcome to Jamaica…” Madonna captioned her post, which included several other photos from her party, which was also attended by her daughter Lourdes and the singer’s boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams were also present.
The post comes following reports Madge was to throw an elaborate bash at the stunning Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay on the island.
Earlier in the day, the Vogue star posted a video showing her romantically slow-dancing with her beau, who was a dancer on her recent Madame X Tour.
While hugging him tightly, she mouths the lyrics to the song they’re dancing to – “Never had a love like this before” – but declines his offer of a joint, telling him that she’s “preserving my vocal cords.”
Madonna was inundated with messages from fans online honouring her special day, with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayMadonna trending on Twitter.
The trip comes as the star continues to recover from knee surgery, following an injury incurred on her recent jaunt, in support of her 2019 album, Madame X.
