Sam Smith appears to have teased a collaboration with Madonna.
The hitmaker shared a brief clip to their pages on Wednesday, during which Smith’s voice announces “Sam and…” before the Queen of Pop interjects with “Madonna”.
They repeat the declaration twice before the teaser ends.

Although no further details were shared, fans soon flocked to the comments and reacted with excitement to the news, and after Sam teased a surprise ending to their Manchester gig, their followers were convinced Madge was set to make an appearance.
“Manchester we’ve got a surprise for you this evening,” Sam penned. “Unholy won’t be the last song…”
However, it remains unknown whether Madonna – who launches her 40th anniversary ‘Celebration Tour’ this summer – was in Manchester for the show as Sam axed the gig after just four songs, owing to vocal issues.
In a heartfelt apology to fans who attended the show at the AO Arena in Manchester, they said: “Dearest Sailors, I don’t know what to say honestly. I fought off a virus a few weeks ago and since then we have travelled across Europe and had such incredible shows.
“During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice. I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong.
“I came off stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won’t.”
After Sam performed their fourth song, Too Good at Goodbyes, they left the stage and the venue went dark, before the crowd was informed that the show had been called off.
“I am honestly heartbroken I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all,” Sam concluded their post. “I love you all. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry x.”
