Sophie Ellis-Bextor has shared a dazzling cover of ABBA’s Dancing Queen.
The singer’s take on the Swedish supergroup’s classic features on her ‘Kitchen Disco – Live at The London Palladium’ album, due next month.
“The night the #KitchenDisco tour came to @LondonPalladium was magical,” tweeted Sophie. “I’m excited to share more with #DancingQueen’s release.”
‘Kitchen Disco – Live at The London Palladium’ chronicles Sophie’s spring 2022 tour off the back of her hit Instagram Live series.
“Doing the Kitchen Disco tour was the end of a promise I made during our lockdown discos… to bring the party to a live audience,” said Sophie in an announcement.
“I’m so happy we have this recording from the @LondonPalladium so I can relive it and share it with you!”
Ahead of the LP release, Sophie has shared her live performances of recent single Hypnotized and Madonna cover Like a Prayer on digital platforms.
‘Kitchen Disco – Live at The London Palladium’ is due November 18 and available to pre-order now.
