Steps have unveiled the music video for the 7th Heaven remix of their latest hit Take Me For a Ride.
The track was released as the lead single from ‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2’, which debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart following a closely-fought battle with Manic Street Preachers.
It was written by Mark Topham and Karl Twigg, the duo behind classic Steps hits including One For Sorrow, Stomp and Deeper Shade of Blue.
The new remix is one of several to be released by the group and feature on The Slightest Touch digital single.
An extended version is also available on the band’s ‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2 (Afterparty Edition)’ deluxe digital release.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop said ‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2’ is packed with “wall-to-wall pop precision” and “paves the way for the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations in 2022”.
‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2’ is available on CD, LP and Cassette.
