Kylie Minogue is set to feature on Ed Sheeran’s forthcoming fifth studio album.
The singer-songwriter released Bad Habits as the lead single from the collection on Friday, June 25, and revealed a new collaboration while promoting the track.
Speaking on the Ash London LIVE! Radio show, the star reflected on his performance at Australian music mogul Michael Gudinski’s memorial service, where he debuted new tune Visiting Hours.

“I loved your [performance] at Gudinski’s service and the song was one of the most beautiful moments of my lifetime,” said Ash. “So thank you for giving us that, it was beautiful.”
Ed replied: “Well I’ve got Jimmy Barnes and Kylie actually singing on the album now. I’ve got them singing backing vocals on it.”
“Shut up,” she quipped, as The A-Team star explained: “Yeah, I was there that night and those two people were the most important people in Michael’s life musically.
“I sang with Kylie and then I hung with Jimmy afterwards and I was just like, ‘You guys have to be on this song.’
“So I got back to England, recorded it, sent it off to them, and they’re on it.”
Ed has yet to set a release date for his new collection, but it is believed to be dropping late 2021 – around the time Kylie will release her ‘DISCO’ deluxe reissue.
