Backstreet Boys are bringing a touch of the ’90s over the holidays with their first-ever Christmas album.

The I Want It That Way hitmakers released their last album, ‘DNA’, back in 2019, and for their 10th LP they’re going festive with a brand new holiday album.

Speaking to All I Have To Give Radio with the Backstreet Boys on Apple Music, the group revealed they’ve been “compiling [their] favourite songs” for the project, which they’re hoping to release later this year.

“We are going to be in the studio recording our first Christmas album ever… we’re excited to get back in the studio for that,” teased the group.

“That will be out later this year… And then also we’re trying to figure out this wacky world of touring in this new era and this new world we’re in, and hopefully, fingers crossed, we’ll be able to get back out on the road later this year…”

They added: “And we also recorded some new music that will be featured in a film.”

The final episode of the show, which is due to air Saturday, March 13, will see all five members of the group united for the first time since the first instalment.

It features the band talking about their favourite and most underrated Backstreet bangers, chatting with fans and answering fun trivia about each other.
