Organisers of the beloved Let’s Rock festivals are planning a new series of socially-distanced 80s Drive in Live concerts.
After the coronavirus crisis forced 2020 events to be cancelled, bosses decided on a new model to get around the dilemma.
In a post on Facebook, they teased: “We are proud to announce our ’80s Drive In Live’, a series of live 80s concerts from the comfort of your own car, coming to a location near you!
“More details to follow in the coming days.”
While little remains known about the events at present, it’s likely that they’ll be held nearby the locations used for the regular annual events.
These include:
- COOKHAM
- NORWICH
- WALES
- THE NORTH EAST
- SCOTLAND
- LEEDS
- EXETER
- SOUTHAMPTON
- SHREWSBURY
- LIVERPOOL
- BELFAST
- ESSEX
