Wet Wet Wet have announced Back to Memphis as the lead single from their forthcoming album ‘The Journey’.
The group is set to release its first album in more than a decade later this year, marking the band’s first outing without former frontman Marti Pellow.
Former Liberty X star and ‘The Voice’ winner Kevin Simm is stepping in as the Love Is All Around group’s singer, and confirmed he’s been in the studio recording and co-writing for the collection.

“Super excited to be releasing the first single off our new album this Friday,” he tweeted, announcing Back to Memphis as the lead track, out July 16.
“I’m really proud of this album which I have co written with the guys.”
The new album, due October 1, features 12 brand new songs, and is available in a variety of formats, including single and double CD editions, coloured vinyl and cassette.
Deluxe formats also include a second album of re-recorded hits, spanning the group’s four-decade history.
