Westlife could secure a landmark ninth UK No. 1 album with ’25 – The Ultimate Collection’ this week.
The Irish group – starring Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Mark Feehily – are marking a quarter-century in the business with a collection of classic hits and new material, which sits at the summit in the midweeks.
If it stars there, the group will match Ed Sheeran, Take That, Bob Dylan and Stereophonics, all of whom also have nine chart-toppers.
The ‘Flying Without Wings’ hitmakers scored their first No. 1 album in 2000 with ‘Coast To Coast’ and released their most-recent chart topping LP ‘Spectrum’ in 2019.
