Tom Aspaul will release his ‘Black Country Discothèque’ vinyl, featuring Kim Wilde, Bright Light Bright Light and more, on Friday, May 7.
‘Black Country Discothèque‘, featuring reworked tracks from Tom’s 2020 album ‘Black Country Disco’, also features collaborations with stars including Grammy-nominated producer MNEK and retro remixer Initial Talk, and was made available on digital platforms last month.
Taking to Twitter the day before the big release, Tom confirmed the 2LP double vinyl collection is set to drop on Friday, writing: “The rumours are TRUE, after some rejigging and redesigning, Black Country Discothèque is now a deluxe gatefold DOUBLE vinyl!”
According to the singer-songwriter, the pressing will be available to order from 1 pm BST via his Bandcamp page.

Tom kicked off the campaign with new track The Program, which he called the project the “perfect progression sonically” from his acclaimed debut.
“I am super excited to start the second phase of the ‘Black Country Disco’ era!” he says in a statement.
“The Program is such an amazing song, when I got in touch with Funk LeBlanc about collaborating for the remix album, they sent the demo through and it was a no-brainer.
“It feels like the perfect progression sonically – we’re definitely in a new decade – and I’m actually relieved to be singing about something other than heartbreak!”
