The Libertines look set to land their first No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart in two decades this week.
The group, fronted by Pete Doherty, are leading the race to the top spot, coming in ahead of current chart-topper Beyoncé with their fourth LP, ‘All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade’.
If they maintain the lead, it will be the band’s first No. 1 since their 2004 self-titled record.
The K’s look set to secure their first-ever Top 5 album as their debut LP, ‘I Wonder If The World Knows?’, comes in at No. 2, while Conan Gray is at No. 3 with his ’80s-inspired record, ‘Found Heaven‘.
Meanwhile, rock outfit Feeder are eyeing an 11th Top 10 album with ‘Black/Red’ coming in at No. 4, and Beyoncé rounds out the Top 5 with ‘Cowboy Carter’.
