Steps are back – and they’ve got a new logo too!
Just days after Retro Pop reported new music looked set to drop from the Scared Of the Dark hitmakers, the group took to their official social media pages to tease an announcement.
Alongside a crystal ball emoji – no doubt a hint towards their new single – they shared a clip of singer Claire Richards posing in front on a massive neon ‘S’.

Shortly afterwards, Lee Latchford-Evans appeared in a second clip, in front of the letter ‘T’ along with the hashtag #WTFH – teasing the title of the new track.

Next up was Lisa, who shared a lyric from the track – “One foot in the past…” – and, we have to say, LSL is posing up a storm!

Following that lyric is Ian ‘H’ Watkins, with “…one foot in the future”.

And finally Faye Tozer added, “Tell me what the future holds.”

The group have maintained their iconic round logo since their first album Step One and have rarely deviated from the well-known graphic.
Along with the change in visuals, the stars have teased the new music will also progress from their last album, Tears On the Dancefloor, with Claire telling the Daily Star last September the new record will “move things on musically but it will still feels like a Steps album.
“It’ll still have that core people know. But we’re in 2019 so we’ve got to keep up to a certain degree.”
