Steps have cancelled the final two rescheduled dates on their ‘What The Future Holds Tour’.
The group was set to return to the stage for a pair of shows in Cardiff and Bournemouth, after Covid derailed the final two dates on their 2021 trek.
While they initially rescheduled the shows for this summer, they’ve since made the decision to scrap the gigs and instead focus on their ‘25th Anniversary Summer Tour’.
We have therefore taken the difficult decision to cancel these two shows. Refunds will be available from your point of purchase. We really hope you can join us at one of our other #Steps25 outdoor festival shows this summer (2/3). pic.twitter.com/Hs7g3QiNft

In a statement, the group penned: “We have tried every possible way to proceed with our #WhatTheFutureHolds tour dates in Cardiff & Bournemouth that were rescheduled because of Covid.
“Sadly due to production issues it’s impossible for us to put on a show at the level of our past indoor tours for just 2 dates.
“We have therefore taken the difficult decision to cancel these two shows. Refunds will be available from your point of purchase.”
They added: “We really hope you can join us at one of our other #Steps25 outdoor festival shows this summer.
“We’re SO excited for these shows and plan to bring you this year’s BIGGEST pop party.”
The ‘25th Anniversary Summer Tour’ will feature a series of outdoor gigs, including festival slots at Mighty Hoopla, Back 2, Kubix and Birmingham Pride.
