Sophie Ellis Bextor has released True Faith as the second track from her forthcoming greatest hits.
As the pop icon prepares to release Songs from the Kitchen Disco – collecting her most popular singles from her two-decade career plus a handful of new covers – Sophie has made her version of the New Order classic available online.
“True Faith, one of the covers from my Songs From The Kitchen Disco greatest hits (out Nov 13) is available to stream / download now,” tweeted Sophie.
“I’ve been a New Order fan forever and this song is just so brilliant. Hope you like my version!”
The release of the track comes shortly after the Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me) singer premiered the music video for her previous release, a brilliant rendition of Alcazar’s Crying at the Discotheque.
Taking to the stage in various live music venues across London, the clip supports the #WeMakeEvents campaign, which aims to highlight that the live events sector urgently needs support from local governments to survive the Covid-19 crisis.
Songs from the Kitchen Disco is released on November 13th and available to pre-order on CD and Vinyl here.
