Eurodance pioneers SNAP! have reissued their 1990 debut LP ‘World Power’ on vinyl to celebrate three decades of hits. 

Originally released in May 1990, the album made stars out of vocalist Penny Ford and rapper Turbo B, who featured on the massive hit single The Power, which topped the UK charts. 

Subsequent singles Ooops Up and Cult Of Snap! propelled ‘World Power’ into the global charts, peaking in the UK Top 10 and US Top 40, with the collection going on to sell in excess of 5 million copies.  

It marked the beginning of a fruitful career for Frankfurt producers Benito Benites (Michael Münzing) and John “Virgo” Garrett III (Luca Anzilotti), who achieved further acclaim with their 1992 follow-up ‘The Madman’s Return’, which includes the enduring global hit Rhythm Is A Dancer.

For the first time, the album is offered as a limited edition picture disc, available now via BMG.
