Members of Shania Twain’s touring crew have been hospitalised following a bus crash on Wednesday (November 8).
According to a statement from Maverick Management, one crew bus and one truck from the superstar’s ‘Queen Of Me Tour’ were involved in a highway accident between Winnipeg and Saskatoon, Canada.
“Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather,” read the statement. “Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals.”
They added: “We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.” (via the New York Post)
Shania was not on the bus at the time of the accident.
The Man! I Feel Like A Woman singer has been on the road with the show since April, with concerts across North America, Canada and the UK.
She is next scheduled to perform at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon on Thursday, however it’s yet to be confirmed whether the show will still go ahead.
