Shakira has broken 14 Guinness World Records with her recent single Music Sessions Vol. 53.

The collaboration with Argentinian DJ and Producer Bizarrap enters the record books as the most streamed Latin track on Spotify in 24 hours (14,393,324), as well as the most streamed Latin track on Spotify in one week (80,646,962).

It also made waves on YouTube, becoming the most viewed Latin track on the platform in 24 hours (63,000,000) and the fastest Latin track to reach 100 million views (2 days and approximately 22 hours).

Shakira also earned records for:

First female vocalist to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with a Spanish-language track
Most No.1s on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart by a female artist
First female artist to replace herself at No.1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart

So far, Shakira has released seven Spanish-language albums, and four English-language records in total. 

Her last major UK chart placement came in 2014 with her Rihanna collaboration Can’t Remember to Forget You, which peaked at No. 11.
