The second 80s Lockdown Fest raised an impressive £35,000 for Child Bereavement UK.
The event, organised by Retro Festival Let’s Rock, was held in place of the annual Let’s Rock events, which have been called off due to the coronavirus lockdown.
It followed the first instalment of the online show, which raised over £100,000 for charity and, on Friday night, stars including OMD, Marc Almond, and Wet Wet Wet hit the virtual stage for more fundraising.
Hazell Dean, Go West, Rozalla, Then Jericho, Brother Beyond, Fuzzbox, Wet Wet Wet, Tony Hadley, Toyah, and Sonia also performed at the event, which streamed live on YouTube.
After an evening of stellar performances and iconic hits, it was announced that the show had attracted just over £35,000 in donations which will directly benefit the non-profit.
