Robbie Williams takes aim at Prime Minister Boris Johnson in his own hilarious Christmas message.
The former Take That star dons a blond wig and suits up to mimic the politician in the video for his single Can’t Stop Christmas, as he pokes fun at Johnson’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It features endless Zoom calls, social distancing and struggles to find toilet roll amid months of panic buying during lockdown – all of which have characterised 2020.
The video sees the hitmaker singing to the nation from his living room, insisting that they could still enjoy Christmas despite all the government restrictions.
Meanwhile, on the TV there’s the Prime Minister – aka Robbie – speaking in one of the government’s daily press briefings, with the government’s usual ‘Stay Alert’ slogan replaced with ‘Can’t Stop Christmas’.
Despite the challenges of 2020, however, the Angels star still manages to celebrate the holidays with a small group of loved ones, as the visual comes to an end with the politicians dancing around the briefing room, before being interrupted by former Prime Minister Theresa May, who shows off her dance moves.

Robbie first offered a glimpse of his new video at the weekend, tweeting a clip with the caption: “Good evening, tomorrow at 8am GMT I will address the nation #CantStopChristmas.”
Can’t Stop Christmas is taken from Robbie’s 2019 chart-topping album The Christmas Present, which has been repackaged for 2020. It features a mix of original songs and special festive covers, along with guest stars including Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, Jamie Cullum and Tyson Fury.
