Robbie Williams will celebrate 25 years of solo success with his new album ‘XXV’.
The former Take That star has collaborated with the Dutch jazz and pop orchestra Metropole Orkest on the project, which features new interpretations of tracks from his celebrated career.
“I’m so excited to announce my new album ‘XXV’ which celebrates many of my favourite songs from the past 25 years,” he says.
My new album XXV is out on September 9th. The album consists of re-recorded and newly orchestrated versions of my greatest hits recorded with the Metropole Orchestra, alongside a few surprises. I can’t wait to share it with you. RW x https://t.co/j2jBznwXGK pic.twitter.com/rpLrjhvHr3

“Each track has a special place in my heart so it was a real thrill to record them again with the Metropole Orkest. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
On the cover, Robbie appears naked, with his arms and legs covering his manhood.
On posing for the revealing shoot, he told the Daily Star: “It’s amazing what they can do with computers now.
“The cover wasn’t my idea but, when it was put to me, I was well up for it.”
Robbie is currently tied with Elvis Presley as the artist with the most UK No. 1 albums – meaning if ‘XXV’ tops the charts, he’ll overtake the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
He insists: “Elvis doesn’t stay dead. He’s constantly putting more albums out. But I’m really ambitious and competitive and I’m so pleased having the record is a possibility.”
‘XXV’ is out September 9 and available to pre-order now.
