P!nk is set to dial in to the BRIT Awards next month for a performance of her Rag’n’Bone Man collaboration Anywhere Away From Here.
The duo will partner with the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir for a special performance of their current single, with Rag’n’Bone Man admitting he’s “really excited” to return to the stage for the event.
“Having people attend this special evening makes me really excited for touring to come,” he shared. “I’m grateful that P!nk is able to join from across the pond, to my band as ever and the NHS Choir are sounding amazing!”
Since winning the BRIT Rising Star award in 2017, Rag’n’Bone Man has won a total of three BRIT Awards, while Pink was honoured in 2019 with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Music Award.
The 2021 BRIT Awards take place at London’s The O2 arena on May 11, with Arlo Parks, Dua Lipa, Griff – this year’s Rising Star winner – and Headie One also set to perform.
Anywhere Away From Here track is lifted from Rag’n’Bone Man’s forthcoming album ‘Life By Misadventure’, due for release May 7, and showcases the pair’s distinctive vocals as they trade verses.
Sharing her excitement about the collaboration, the Just Give Me a Reason hitmaker says: “I first encountered Rag’n’Bone Man in Europe in 2017 not long after hearing his song Human.
“By then I had already fallen in love with his voice, and when we met in person I quickly learned he has a beautiful soul, too.
“Since then, I knew I wanted to work with him one day. Anywhere Away From Herecouldn’t be a better song for us to sing together. I’m so honoured to be a part of this collaboration.”
The single comes two years after P!nk released her eighth studio album, ‘Hurts 2B Human’, featuring the hit singles Walk Me Home, Can We Pretend and Hurts 2B Human.
In February 2021, she released the song Cover Me in Sunshine as a duet with her daughter Willow Sage Hart.
