Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark are hitting the road for a 15-date UK tour next year.
The electronic group will return to the stage from November 1st 2021 for the shows, with dates across the country at venues including London’s Eventim Apollo and the Liverpool Empire.
The tour, that will see the band perform songs from their iconic album Architecture & Morality, plus many more hits from their legendary back catalogue.
“After purgatory without the oxygen of live performance to energise both artist and audience, what joy it is to know we will be able to share these moments again,” says frontman Andy McCluskey.
OMD recently announced a 40th anniversary limited edition 12” coloured vinyl release of their anti-war hit single Enola Gay – out Nov 27th – along with an extended version and remix, available to download and stream now.
They’ll also play a live streamed show – dubbed YOU ME & OMD – from London’s Indigo at The O2 on March 27th 2021 at 9 pm UK time in an effort to raise funds for their out of work touring crew amid the pandemic.
Tickets for the Architecture and More Tour are on sale from 10 am UK time on October 30th – get yours here. International dates to follow.
