Oasis have announced two additional UK dates for their long-awaited 2025 reunion tour.

Following overwhelming demand for tickets, which saw the initial round of shows selling out on Saturday, August 31 – the day the first batch of dates went on sale, Liam and Noel Gallagher have revealed they will play extra dates in London in September 2025.

It comes after more than 10 million fans sought to secure tickets online, resulting in lengthy queues and technical difficulties, and the new dates being available via an invitation-only ballot as “a small step towards making amends for the situation”.

Initial ticket sales drew criticism towards the Wonderwall hitmakers, when Ticketmaster implemented dynamic pricing, meaning some fans paid up to £350 for tickets – more than double their original value.

An announcement for the two new shows stressed the band was not responsible for the decision, reading: “As for the well reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.

“While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

“All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.”

Oasis will play a series of live shows across the summer, with gigs in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin.

The duo commented: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

According to a press release, plans are underway for the tour to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.

It is unclear whether the siblings will be joined by guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell, who were part of the line-up before the group disbanded in 2009.

Tickets are on sale now and are available here.
