Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons has confirmed a new album is on the way.
The singer, who fronted the ‘80s new wave group and scored hits like Destination Unknown, Walking In LA and I Can’t Think About Dancin‘, revealed plans for the LP in a post on Facebook.
Sharing an update on deliveries of her memoir, ‘Life Is So Strange’, she said the record is “soon to be released this year”, teasing: “More info on that later.”
Missing Persons released three albums between 1982 and 1986: ‘Spring Session M’ (1982), ‘Rhyme & Reason’ (1984) and ‘Color In Your Life’ (1986) before splitting.
A solo album, ‘Riot In English’ (1988), followed on Prince’s Paisley Park label, before Bozzio stepped out of the spotlight for years.
However, in 2014 she released the first Missing Persons album in 28 years, ‘Missing In Action’, and in 2020 unveiled the covers LP, ‘Dreaming’.
