Missing Persons team up with Steve Stevens on Because Of You I’m Crying, the latest single from their forthcoming LP, ‘Hollywood Lie’.
With spoken-word verses reminiscent of singer Dale Bozzio’s solo single Riot In English, the track is the follow-up to Ice Blue Eyes and the second overall to be lifted from their first original album in a decade.
According to Dale, the self-penned set is “about my deep concern for all the people suffering with depression, living a double life or just getting caught up in the glitz and glamour and empty promises of Hollywood”.
Revealing the LP is “dedicated to Len Holness, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s character Gatsby and the fashion designer Halston”, Bozzio called ‘Hollywood Lie’ “one of my greatest accomplishments”.
