Miley Cyrus will release her new single Flowers on January 13.
The pop star announced her latest track during her ‘Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party’ broadcast on Saturday, December 31.
During the show – which featured appearances from stars including Dolly Parton, Paris Hilton and SIA – the hitmaker shared two teasers for the track.
One clip sees Miley walking through a Californian landscape in a gold outfit and sunglasses, singing: ‘I can love me better, baby / Can love me better.’
‘I can love me better than you can,’ she sings in another visual while dancing in the spray of water sprinklers.
The announcement follows Miley teasing her return by putting up posters that read “New Year New Miley” in various locations around the world.
A press release confirming the track “heavily encourage[s]” fans to “continue to follow mileycyrus.com for further announcements this week,” which features a countdown to the single’s January 13 release date.
