Mick Fleetwood’s star-studded tribute to late Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green will be screened in cinemas across the UK for two nights in September.
‘Mick Fleetwood and Friends Celebrate The Music of Peter Green’ was captured at The London Palladium in February 2020, with a host of guest musicians including the Fleetwood Mac drummer, keyboard player and vocalist Christine McVie, singer and guitarist Neil Finn, and previous members Jeremy Spencer and Rick Vito.
Over a year after the performance took place, the film will hit screens on September 7 and 12, featuring seminal Fleetwood Mac classics such as Albatross, The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown), Need Your Love So Bad and more.
“I’m thrilled that our wonderful tribute concert to my friend and mentor, Peter Green is headed to the big screen,” said Mick.
“Fleetwood Mac fans will get the opportunity to see this amazing show as if they were sitting in the stalls that night.”
Noel Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammett, Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Zak Starkey, Pete Townshend, Steven Tyler and Bill Wyman complete the line-up of performers, alongside house band Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze and Ricky Peterson.
Tickets to the one-off event are on sale at cinemas across the country now.
