Melanie C has teamed up with her fellow ‘The Voice Kids’ coach Danny Jones for a new duet.
The pair, who will appear on the forthcoming series of the TV talent show, hit the stage for a rendition of the Spice Girls star’s hit When You’re Gone.
Originally a Top 3 hit for Melanie and Bryan Adams, McFly star Danny fills in for the rocker for the pair’s latest performance.
Speaking at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards, Danny said: “This series is different because of Mel C.
“She’s lovely. At one point I got to be her Bryan Adams!”
Upon joining the show, Melanie beamed: ‘“I’ve always been a huge fan of ‘The Voice’ so I am super excited to be a coach on ‘The Voice Kids’ this year.
“I can’t wait to get in one of those big red chairs and Spice things up.”
Meanwhile, Danny admitted he was over-the-moon about Melanie joining him and fellow coaches will.i.am and Pixie Lott.
“I’m chuffed to have Melanie joining the gang,” he enthused. “Every year when I think the talent can’t be topped I find myself blown away by the new up and coming kids.
“I’m looking forward to discovering some brand new little superstars, it’s also a mission of mine to catch up with Pixie’s winning streak.”
