Former Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow is preparing to head out alone again with the release of his new album, ‘Stargazer’, on March 26.
Recorded across two, four-day socially-distanced studio sessions in Monnow Valley, Wales, the star’s 12th solo LP is led by the single These Are The Days, which is available now.
Opening up on the ballad, Marti says: “These Are The Days‘ lyrics have really found their place in the world right now.
“They’re about growing up, me and my mates, just running about the streets, not a care in the world, those formative years, helping you become the man you become.

“I love the simplicity of it.”
The album was recorded with a stellar line-up of musicians, including brothers Jeremy and Paul Stacey (The Lemon Trees) on drums and guitar, respectively, with Charlie Jones (Goldfrapp) on bass, and James Halliwell (The Waterboys) on keyboards.
“I believe ‘Stargazer’ is about imagination, every day is a school day in songwriting, and that’s what this album took me back to,” adds the singer.
“It was a big learning process.”
‘Stargazer’ will be available as a 1CD, 2CD Deluxe Edition (including demos disc) and double LP release, and is available to pre-order now.
