Mark Owen will release the deluxe edition of his latest album ‘Land of Dreams’ in December.
Having unveiled his first solo LP in almost a decade, with the record peaking in the UK Top 5, the Take That singer will release an expanded edition before the year is out.
Featuring the singles You Only Want Me and Magic, the record was born of his relocation to Los Angeles.
“I moved to LA with the intention of making a record out here,” he says. “LA was a whole new world for me. It was about trying to find my way in a place I’d never been before, working in studios that I’d never been in before, with people that I’d never worked with before.
“I realised I’ve been doing music now for 30 years or so, and I just wanted to have a new experience where almost I had to start again.
“I wanted to come here and start from the ground, and build something new.”
In a review of the album, Retro Pop said Mark “leans into a plethora of genres and inspirations” for an album that sees him “lives his Los Angeles fantasy”.
‘Land of Dreams (Deluxe Edition)’ is out December 2.
