MARINA has parted company with her record label Atlantic Records.

The singer-songwriter signed with the major label over a decade ago and has released five LPs, including her debut ‘The Family Jewels’ and its chart-topping follow-up ‘Electra Heart’.

Following the release of her fifth album ‘Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land’, however, the star told the crowd at London’s O2 Academy Brixton that the LP is her last with the company.

“After 14 years of being signed, after five albums,” Marina announced on stage on May 22. “Ancient Dreams is my last record with Atlantic Records.

“I want to share my independence with you!”

During her time with the label, MARINA achieved three Top 10 albums and six UK Top 40 singles.

Following the release of ‘Froot’ in 2015, she switched her stage name from Marina and the Diamonds to MARINA.

‘Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land’ debuted and peaked at No. 17 in the UK, making it the hitmaker’s first album to miss the Top 10.
