Mariah Carey is launching her new album The Rarities by premiering the concert film of her 1996 show from Japan’s Tokyo Dome.
The star is releasing her 16th album, featuring unreleased tracks, B-sides and live recordings, on Friday, with the two-disc collection also including the recording of the show from her Daydream World Tour.
Celebrating the launch of the record, and her new memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, which dropped on Tuesday, Mariah will stream the HD concert footage from the show on her YouTube channel on Friday at 3 pm UK time.
The Live at the Tokyo Dome concert will be available to view on Mariah’s channel after the premiere.
The Rarities features 15 previously unavailable tracks, including single Save The Day with Lauryn Hill, along with the recording of the complete live show, featuring classic hits like Emotions, Fantasy and Always Be My Baby.
