Mariah Carey puts on a festive spectacle in the trailer for her Apple TV+ Christmas special.
The diva has tapped actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish to narrate the clip, which adapts the beloved ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas tale alongside segments from Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.
It features clips of the pop superstar performing at a makeshift North Pole, with Mimi donning an assortment of spectacular gowns as she’s flanked by dancers onstage – including twins Moroccan and Monroe.
The special also features appearances from Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson – who join the music icon for a new version of her 2010 holiday hit Oh Santa! – plus Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Billy Eichner, Misty Copeland, The Peanuts Gang and Mykal-Michelle Harris.
Per an announcement, the storyline goes something like this: “Faced with a holiday cheer crisis, the North Pole knows there’s only one person who can save the day: Santa’s great friend, Mariah Carey.”
The soundtrack will be available exclusively on Apple Music also on December 4th and will debut on all other platforms a week later, on December 11th.
