Mariah Carey is moving onto the Emotions era for this week’s #MC30 release – a remastered clip of her Can’t Let Go performance from Top of The Pops.
The star released the track as the second single from her sophomore album – following the No. 1 title track – and hit the stage on the UK chart show to perform the hit.
“Kicking off the ‘Emotions’ era of #MC30 with Can’t Let Go from Top of the Pops,” Mariah announced on social media, alongside a clip from the video.
“Still one of my favorite songs to this day.”
Mariah’s celebrating her record-breaking 30 year career on Fridays, following the anniversary of her self-titled debut album earlier this year.
She has been releasing digital EPs, remixes, bonus cuts, rare tracks, acapella renditions and live performances from throughout her career.
According to a press statement, the music releases will be accompanied by video footage, photos, physical releases and personal notes from the singer.
While not yet officially confirmed, it looks like a number of vinyl reissues are on the way – including this classic Mimi album.
