Madonna would love to hit the road on a joint stadium tour with Britney Spears.
The Queen of Pop teamed up with Britney on 2003 single Me Against The Music, which was released as the lead track from her fourth LP ‘In The Zone’.
She’s been outspoken about Britney’s conservatorship, which was abolished late last year, and speaking with fans during an Instagram Live Q&A, Madonna admitted she’s keen to work with the star again.
“Hell yeah! I have to,” said the Vogue star about returning to the road: “Stadium baby! Me and Britney, what about that?”
Madonna also suggested she and Britney could “reenact the original [kiss],” in reference to their on-stage kiss at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
The two singers last teamed up in 2008 with a duet of Madonna’s Human Nature during her ‘Sticky & Sweet Tour’, however she admitted she’s “not sure” whether Britney would be on board.
The Toxic singer hasn’t performed live since her ‘Piece of Me Tour’ concluded in October 2018 and she cancelled all work commitments amid the conservatorship.
During her fight to be freed, Madonna was outspoken about the situation, writing on Instagram: “Give this woman her life back. Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries.
“This is a violation of human rights! Britney we coming to get you out of jail!”
