Madonna appears to be remixing her 50 US Dance Club Songs No. 1s for a brand new release.
The Queen of Pop hit the landmark with her ‘Madame X’ track I Don’t Search I Find, which topped the countdown in February 2020.
It marked Madonna’s 50th chart-topper and made her the first act in history to score as many as 50 No. 1s on any single Billboard chart.
Taking to Instagram ahead of a monumental year, which will see her begin a career-spanning reissue project, Madonna checked in from the studio to tease the venture.
“In the Stu working on 50 dance remixes with @therealmikedean and a little help from @honeydijon,” she penned.
In the comments, Honey shared a bunch of red heart emojis and wrote: “What an honor!!!!! You da best!”
Meanwhile, Madonna recently revealed she was in the studio with Swae Lee, with whom she collaborated on her 2019 ‘Madame X’ cut Crave, working on new songs.
“So great to be back in the studio making Music again,” Madonna penned. “Suprises [sic] in the New Year.”
Madonna recently released her ‘Madame X’ concert documentary on Paramount+, along with a live album featuring tracks from the performance.
In a review of the record, Retro Pop said ‘Madame X (Music From The Theater Xperience)’ “captures the ‘Madame X’ Tour and reaffirms that she is and remains at the top of her game”.
