Madonna and Sam Smith have shared their new collaboration, Vulgar.
The track is the first recorded collaboration between the Unholy singer and the Queen of Pop, whose nineties single Human Nature Sam has been performing in their live shows.
Sam produced Vulgar with Ilya (for MXM Productions), Cirkut, Omer Fedi, Ryan Tedder, Jimmy Napes, and Madonna’s vocal producer and engineer, Lauren D’Elia.

Madonna recently collaborated with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti on Popular, which appears on the soundtrack to HBO’s ‘The Idol’, also starring the Blinding Lights singer.
It comes ahead of the launch of the legendary performer’s ‘Celebration Tour’, celebrating 40 years of hits, which will take us on Madonna’s artistic journey through four decades and pays respect to the city of New York where her career in music began, according to a press release.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” says Madonna.
Launching in North America in July, Madonna will play shows in the region through October, before performing a European leg into December. She’ll return to the US in January 2024 for another run of live dates.
Bob the Drag Queen a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue will guest across all dates on the global tour.
Tickets are on general sale now.
