Madonna has called out 50 Cent over his comments surrounding her recent bedroom photo series on Instagram.

The Queen of Pop hit headlines with the risque snaps, which were photographed in a bedroom and caused a stir on Instagram when bosses removed the post, which revealed her nipple.

Subsequently, the In Da Club hitmaker took aim at Madonna by Photoshopping one of the snaps onto a still from ‘The Wizard of Oz’, showing Madonna’s legs sticking out from underneath Dorothy’s house, which crushes The Wicked Witch of the East in the film.

While some fans were amused, the Erotica hitmaker was less than impressed, writing: “Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have decided to talk smack about me!

“I guess your new career is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media, the least elevated choice you could make as an artist and an adult.

“You’r [sic] just jealous you won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you’re my age! Too bad there are no sour grapes [emojis].”

In response, the rapper penned on his Twitter page: “I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up a old MTV photo from 03. Ok I’m sorry I did not intend to hurt your feelings.

“I don’t benefit from this in anyway I said what I thought when I saw the picture because of where I had seen it before I hope you accept my apology.”

Now, weeks after their spat began, Madonna responded to 50’s apology, calling it “fake”, “bulls**t” and “not valid”.

She captioned a clip on Instagram: “Delayed Clap back for 50 cent And his fake apology… Ive been busy, better late then never!!! Had. some things I needed to say. [sic].”

“You were trying to shame me,” the Sorry singer said in the video. “Your apology is fake, it’s bullshit and it’s not valid. It’s not hard to find footage of me and you hanging out,” she said before the video cuts to an old clip of 50 bragging about his relationship with her.

“Number two, an apology is not valid if you don’t know what you’re apologising for,” she continued. “What you should be apologising for is your misogynistic, sexist, ageist behaviour and remarks.

“Number three, you didn’t hurt my feelings, because I didn’t take it personally. I could never take it personally because you’re not coming from an enlightened place.

“Number four, you say you’re not benefiting from it. Of course you’re benefiting from it, that is what social media is all about.”

The star went on to accuse the rapper of “trying to put a limit on when women should be able to feel good about themselves,” and concluded: “Finally, I just want to say, I forgive you. I hope that one day, you wake up and see a different point of view. I wish you all the best.”
