Louise has released a pair of super deluxe digital packages of her new ‘Greatest Hits’ album.
The ‘Greatest Hits (Extended Edition)’ includes a total of 40 songs; 20 of Louise’s biggest hits, plus 10 reimagined versions from her solo and Eternal catalogue, all of which also feature as extended mixes, courtesy of Steve Anderson.
Meanwhile, ‘Greatest Hits & More’ boasts five tracks from her unreleased 2003/2004 album, including Bounce Back, Slam, Lil Lou, Make It Fit and Don’t Ever Change.

Speaking exclusively in RETROPOP’s July 2023 cover feature, Louise hinted at plans to revisit her unreleased material, sharing: “There’s a bit in the vault. There’s a couple of goodies in the vault, actually, which might get an airing at some stage.
“I mean, they are throwback; they’re not particularly like what’s going on right now within the music industry in terms of current sounds. But a good song is a good song and they stand the test of time, so I think that there’ll be some little nuggets along the way.”
Following the release of ‘Elbow Beach’ in 2000, Louise set to work on a planned fourth album but the project never materialised and she instead focussed on her first best-of compilation, 2001’s ‘Changing Faces’, before stepping away from music for over 15 years.
Discussing the recording, she added: “I got quite far down the line with that album. I got about 10 or 12 tracks in – you write and record a lot more than that for an album – but I got quite far and then I got pregnant with Charlie.
“But you know, everything happens for a reason and we actually pulled some of those songs out of the vault recently. I’m still in touch with some of the producers that worked on those songs, so…”
