Laura Branigan’s brilliant third studio album Self Control has been reissued as a double-disc expanded edition.
The album, featuring singles Self Control, The Lucky One, Ti Amo and Satisfaction, was an international hit, selling over 1 million copies. Its title track peaked at No. 5 in the UK.
The new release features the original album in its entirety, plus a second disc of bonus material from the Self Control era.
Included in the set are four versions of Self Control, three of The Lucky One, the single version and the special dance mix of Satisfaction, plus When – a track written by Branigan – and Hot Night, her contribution to the original soundtrack album for Ghostbusters.
The 2CD expanded edition features the original album artwork, extensive sleeve notes and a comprehensive UK Discography.
Branigan released seven studio albums between 1982-1993, including her self-titled debut, featuring the international hit Gloria.
Tragically, the star passed away in August, 2004 from a previously undiagnosed ventricular brain aneurysm.
