Kylie Minogue has teased new music with a selfie fresh from the recording studio.
It’s less than a year since the star released her record-breaking ‘DISCO’ album and, ahead of a repackage of the LP, she’s already recording new tunes.
Alongside a shot from the vocal booth, Kylie penned: “Back in this happy place…”
‘DISCO’ saw the singer debut atop the UK charts and spawned the hit singles Say Something, Magic and Real Groove (feat. Dua Lipa).
Since then, Kylie has teamed up with Years & Years star Olly Alexander for a remix of his hit Starstruck and has also been working on tracks with Jessie Ware.
After returning Down Under earlier this year, the In My Arms hitmaker revealed she’s “set up a home studio” in Melbourne to work on new tracks for a deluxe re-release.
“This year, we will do a repack of ‘DISCO’ and that instantly gets my neurons firing,” confirmed Kylie.
“What else can we do? What will that lead to? There’s a lot to play with…”
In our review of ‘DISCO’, Retro Pop said the album, “comes just in time to help us dance through the darkness and back into the light.
“’DISCO’ is packed with upbeat, care-free ’70s inspired dance music – and, frankly, that’s just what we needed right now!”
