Kylie Minogue is reportedly ready to release new music.

The Spinning Around singer has long been teasing the deluxe re-release of her 2020 No. 1 LP ‘DISCO’ and, according to sources, it’s finally on its way.

Following Kylie’s return to the UK after a visit to her native Australia, The Sun reports the pop legend is ready to “dive back into music” with her latest release.

Speaking about the singer’s efforts to split her time between the UK – where boyfriend Paul Solomons is based – and Oz, insiders shared: “Kylie had a lovely time in Australia but never intended to stay so long, especially as it meant time away from Paul.

“It has made her think about whether she sees her future there or in the UK. Her parents and her sister Dannii are there.

“Equally though, she has her boyfriend, pals and career in the UK and feels like she will be able to travel much more easily when Covid restrictions ease worldwide.

“She has returned to London now and is about to dive back into music, so there won’t be any rash decisions yet. But it has raised some questions.”

Kylie returned Down Under in December to spend the holidays with her family, after recording and promoting ‘DISCO’ in the UK in late 2020.

Speaking at the Entertainment Retailer’s Association (ERA) AGM, Alistair Norbury, president, repertoire & marketing UK, BMG, confirmed Kylie’s new release will come before the end of 2021.

“Coming up for Q4 we have a great line-up of new records including Nick Cave, Motorhead, Duran Duran, JLS, Natalie Imbruglia and a new release from Kylie,” he shared (via Music Week)

The Dancing singer’s 15th album saw the singer debut atop the UK charts and spawned the hit singles Say SomethingMagic and Real Groove (feat. Dua Lipa).

Since then, Kylie has teamed up with Years & Years star Olly Alexander for a remix of his hit Starstruck and has also been working on tracks with Jessie Ware

After returning Down Under earlier this year, the In My Arms hitmaker revealed she’s “set up a home studio” in Melbourne to work on new tracks for a deluxe re-release.

“This year, we will do a repack of ‘DISCO’ and that instantly gets my neurons firing,” confirmed Kylie.

“What else can we do? What will that lead to? There’s a lot to play with…”

In our review of ‘DISCO’Retro Pop said the album, “comes just in time to help us dance through the darkness and back into the light.

“’DISCO’ is packed with upbeat, care-free ’70s inspired dance music – and, frankly, that’s just what we needed right now!”
