Kylie Minogue has landed a guest spot on the new album from French record producer and songwriter Mirwais.
It was confirmed in a piece by The Guardian that Mirwais – who has frequently collaborated with Madonna on albums including Music, American Life and Madame X – is set to release a “conversation-starting song and video, taken from an album featuring established names such as Richard Ashcroft and Kylie Minogue”.
While little more is known about the release, it is described by the publication as being “part of some sort of experimental protest”.
Meanwhile Kylie, who releases new album DISCO on November 6th, with a massive global live stream concert, dubbed Infinite Disco, coming one day later, tells Metro she’s “curious” to collaborate with Queen of Pop Madonna.
“I am as curious as the fans are,” she smiles, adding, “It would be amazing. The hard part is to get the right song and the right moment…
“Maybe any moment is the right moment… but the right song? One that’s in people’s imagination, mine included, because don’t forget I was a 14-year-old Madonna maniac. I was that kid.”
Kylie also names Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus as dream collaborations.
