Kim Wilde has been forced to delay her forthcoming Greatest Hits tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The singer was due to hit the road with China Crisis later this year, but has put the jaunt on hold amid the crisis.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, the star, who recently released new single Numinous, said: “Due to the on-going social distancing measures, it is with regret that we have to announce the postponement of our Greatest Hits Tour.

The new dates kick off in September, 2021, and will see the Kids In America star play 11 UK dates before wrapping at the London Palladium on 26 September.

The full list of UK dates is as follows:

September 11 2021 – CARDIFF St Davids Hall
September 12 2021 – NORTHAMPTON Royal and Derngate
September 13 2021 – LIVERPOOL Philharmonic Hall
September 15 2021 – BOURNEMOUTH Pavilion
September 16 2021 – SOUTHEND Cliffs Pavilion
September 17 2021 – YORK Barbican
September 18 2021 – GLASGOW O2 Academy Glasgow
September 19 2021 – MANCHESTER Bridgewater Hall
September 21 2021 – GATESHEAD Sage
September 26 2021 – LONDON Palladium

She’ll follow the UK leg with 12 European shows, beginning September 30.
