Kim Wilde is holding onto her belief in “magic and hope” this Christmas.
The pop legend insists that, while many have felt “hopeless” in 2020 amid the pandemic, “we need to find [magic and hope] again this Xmas more than ever”.
She tells the Daily Express: “A lot of young people have felt so hopeless this year when their budding dreams have been smashed before they had a chance to start, so it might be hard to believe in magic and hope.
“That’s why we need to find it again this Xmas more than ever.”
Kim’s done her fair share in spreading the holiday cheer this year, reissuing her Wilde Winter Songbook album and performing a special acoustic virtual show over on YouTube.
The gig benefitted StageHand and Crew Nation, helping those in the entertainment industry affected by Covid-19, with Kim explaining: “2020 has been a difficult year for everybody.
“Many are struggling to keep their homes and families afloat. Please consider supporting them so that we can bring live music back in 2021. Even the smallest donations really help.
“We all hope you have a great Christmas and that 2021 will see us all back together in a live music venue near you,” added the star.
