Kesha has dropped the music video for her latest single Only Love Can Save Us Now.
Lifted from the US star’s fifth album, ‘Gag Order’, the Rick Rubin-produced track is an intense reflection on the artist’s ongoing legal battle with Dr Luke, with its visual seeing the singer deliver a surreal performance of the song.
Alongside scenes of her delivering the song in a gallery setting, surrounded by observers and passers by, other shots see a person running down a busy street wearing a full bodysuit depicting Kesha, complete with a face covering.

In a self-penned manifesto, the Tik Tok hitmaker says of her latest LP: “Without the darkness there is no light. I finally let my darkness have the light. I cannot fight the truth of this life being difficult and painful. It is for everyone.”
“An artist doesn’t exist to make others happy. I believe an artist gives voice, motion, colour to the emotions we all have. The good emotions, and the unmanageably fucking miserable ones,” she adds.
In a review of the album, RETROPOP called ‘Gag Order’ “a bold, defiant statement […] reclaiming the trauma of the past and channelling it into what’s destined to become her magnum opus”.
